How To Apply and Terms & Conditions

  1. You must be working within the industry in Scotland or studying for an associated course at the time of application. The general term for the industry categories are “hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism” and indeed education. Consideration will be given on an individual basis out with these categories.
  2. You must inform your line manager/lecturer about your intention to apply and also be available for your scholarship once the dates have been agreed.
    In certain circumstances, if you do not attend your scholarship after agreeing dates, you may be liable to repay some of the costs incurred.
  3. If you scholarship involves travel out with the UK, you must be in possession of personal travel insurance, at the time of travel.
  4. If you move jobs or change contact details, it I your responsibility to let HIT Scotland know your new contact details.
  5. The decision of the scholarship committee is final and whilst feedback may be provided, the final judgement rests with the scholarship committee.
