BURSARY CASE STUDY :
Angus College
A number of Angus College hospitality students were given a welcome boost after receiving bursaries from the Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland to help them continue their studies.
The awards were made to enable students to carry on their studies in circumstances where financial considerations might have otherwise prevented them from staying on at college.
With the help of the HIT Scotland bursary, Nicola Cargill from Arbroath was able to pay a substantial proportion of her fees. Susan Leighton from Brechin was able to pay for childcare to enable her to continue with her course.
